What Is Bluetooth And How It Is Work?

Today's era is of digital technology. Just as online and offline technology is growing rapidly, in the same way, digital products are coming into the market at a rapid pace, it has made many of our problems easy.

With the changes in technology, today all the devices are becoming wireless. Like a mouse can control the computer without wire or we can listen to songs through wireless headphones.

Bluetooth is the name of the technology due to which we can work by creating a wireless network. In today's time, many mediums are used to connect electronic devices to each other.

In today's article, we will talk about Bluetooth technology. What is Bluetooth? How does Bluetooth work? What are the benefits of Bluetooth? Friends, read this article till the end.

Nowadays Bluetooth feature is available in all small phones and smartphones. We have been using this technology for a long time because it is a very good way to transfer data. But most people do not know everything about Bluetooth.

In the previous article, we told you about wireless fidelity (wi-fi). One must read that article so that you know everything about wifi.

We use Bluetooth every day at the office, at home. This is a great feature and technology that we use daily. So let's know what Bluetooth actually means?

    What is Bluetooth?:-

Bluetooth is a wireless technology through which you can transfer data by connecting two or more devices. Bluetooth uses low-frequency radio waves for communication. Through which we can connect more than two devices. Which leads to the creation of a small network.

    What is Bluetooth?

When two devices are connected via Bluetooth then a wireless network is formed and within the scope of that network both the devices start communicating among themselves.

When we talk about other wireless connectivity modes, the transmission of data through Bluetooth is much less compared to them. Bluetooth can communicate primarily with devices ranging from 10 meters to 15 meters. By using this technology, the user does not need any codes, cables, adapters and it allows them to communicate and connect wirelessly.

Bluetooth can connect to as many as 4 devices at the same time. Bluetooth is mainly used in electronic devices such as smartphones, personal computers, printers, digital cameras, laptops, headphones, speakers, and gaming consoles. But one important thing to note in this is that at the time of data transfer between two devices, both devices should have a Bluetooth facility.

Before establishing a connection, both the devices have to be connected to each other through a special pin. Only then the user of the other device gives his consent to connect. Only then the connection is established. The same security is provided with Bluetooth.

    History of Bluetooth: -

Bluetooth was invented by the Ericsson company working on radio systems in 1979.

The tenth-century rule of Bluetooth technology was taken from King Harald Bluetooth of Denmark. King Harald Bluetooth made diplomacy politics to convince the kings engaged in war at that time so that the king could avoid war by contacting many of them.

The technology was named Bluetooth by his ability and process. That is, by connecting several electronic gadgets at a time, information and data can be exchanged.

In the last few years, many excellent versions of Bluetooth have come into the world. Which includes v1.2, v2.0, v2.1, v3.0, v4.0, v4.1, and v5.0. All Bluetooth versions have different speeds and data requirements.

With the older version, the device which has Bluetooth version easily connect and operate easily with the new version. Data is easily transferred without any interruptions.

    How does Bluetooth work?:-

Bluetooth is being used everywhere like wifi. Bluetooth is being used today in various types of electronics devices.

Today all mobile and desktop computers have Bluetooth inbuilt. Apart from this, a separate Bluetooth device also comes. Which can be connected with mobile and computer. This device is very cheap.

To use Bluetooth, first of all, the Bluetooth device needs to be turned on. After this, these devices find the nearest available Bluetooth device and send a request to connect with it. When a device is connected using a pin, a wireless network is formed between them.

The wireless network of Bluetooth gives you a limit of only 10 to 15 meters. After the wireless network is established, these devices are fully ready to communicate data. If a device goes outside the scope of the wireless network, then its connection is broken and the transfer of data also stops.

These networks mainly have two elements, the first is the masters and the second is the slave. A device is a primary master device when a lot of Bluetooth devices are connected to the network. And all other devices are secondary or slave devices.

Bluetooth technology mainly consists of two types of networks, one is piconet and the other is scattered.

Piconet: - Piconet network is formed when a master device and a slave device are present. Piconet can remain an active slave as much as possible. That is why a maximum of 4 devices ie 1 master and the other 4 slave devices can be connected.

The device that starts the connection. A piconet has only one master device. Which can send data to other devices. That is why communication between master and slave devices in the piconet can be one to one or one to many.

In one communication, only a slave device can receive data when the master device sends data. One then in main communication, when the master device is sending data, more than one slave device can receive.

scatternet: - Combination of multiple piconets is called scatternet. The same slave device in a piconet can operate as a master device in another piconet. This is why a device is part of two piconets. But a device cannot be more than one piconet master device as you know. The scattered is prepared by connecting more than one piconet.

If a device is a slave device in a piconet and another piconet has a master device, then the device or slave that the slave has a slave device can send the same data received from the piconet or the message in the second piconet in which the master device is the master device.

    Advantages of Bluetooth: -

    • Can connect devices wirelessly.
    • You can give a wireless internet connection to any other device using Bluetooth.
    • We can easily connect devices such as mouse keyboard printer speakers etc. with anyone without a wire.
    • The capacity of this technology is very high, that is why you can transfer data across the wall.
    • It is cheaper than other wireless technology.
    • It requires less energy. That's why Bluetooth consumes less of your device's battery.

Bluetooth provides security in data transfer. Communication takes place only in small circles. That is why devices located far away from your network cannot be manipulated.

Friends, this was Bluetooth technology. Today, Bluetooth is available in all smartphones and laptops. After the arrival of Bluetooth, we can easily transfer any file.
